WHO’S HOT FOR THE JR. BLUES: Alex Werdmuller (Laguna Hills, Ca.) won the NA3HL’s Midwest Division Star of the Week award following two great performances in the sweep of Evansville. Werdmuller scored four points (3G, 1A) on the weekend.

THE RIVALRY RENEWED: This will be the fifth and sixth of the eight meetings this year between St. Louis and Peoria: thus far, the meetings have been split, with St. Louis winning two and Peoria winning two, with the Mustangs also getting an extra point as one of the two Jr. Blues wins came in overtime. Both teams are coming into the game on hot streaks: St. Louis has won five in a row and nine of their last ten, while Peoria has taken the decision in seven of their last eight.
