Two Players Sign NAHL Tenders For 2011-12 Season

Mar 10, 2011

Two members of the 2010-11 St. Louis Jr. Blues have signed tender agreements for the 2011-12 season.  The first to sign was Dominic Valencia with the St. Louis Bandits.  The Bandits are a perennial power in the NAHL, having captured 3 Championships in the last 4 seasons.  Head Coach J.P. Beilsten comments, "Dom was on the bubble with the Bandits this year and was one of their last cuts.  He came back to us and showed that he can be dominate at our level and had the opportunity to strengthen his game in order to go back."

Jamie DeMarco has also signed a tender agreement with the Kenai River Brown Bears of the NAHL.  Says Beilsten, "Demo is among the fastest, if not the fastest player in NA3HL.  He has a good feel around the net with the puck and his speed can dominate games.  (Kenai Head Coach) Oliver David is an outstanding coach that has Kenai headed in the right direction, and it was a good fit for Demo."

There is another tender offer on the table for a 3rd player who is still weighing his options.
