During the third, Papa answered for the Jr. Blues with a goal at 7:04 with assists from his linemates, Jones and Dunaway. Hatton scored a goal at 12:25 with helpers from his linemates, Galaguzov and Dunaway. Dabbs put in a goal at 14:44 with assists from his linemates, Biffignani and Hazelton. Dabbs quickly followed with a goal at 15:13 with helpers from his linemates, Biffignani and Monreal. Hatton quickly followed with a goal at 16:56 with assists from his linemates, Galaguzov and Cox.
The Jr. Blues’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Smith as he stopped 15 of the 17 shots he faced. Smith’s counterpart, Linenburg, also had a big night, managing to stop 52 of 60, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the St. Louis Jr. Blues’ record to (20-1-0-0).
