St. Louis 6 @ Peoria 3 – The Peoria Mustangs hosted the St. Louis Jr. Blues for their seventh matchup of the season. The Jr. Blues won all six of their previous matchups. In the first period, the Mustangs opened the scoring with forward Breyon Maroney scoring at 11:02. Jr. Blues forward Jace Jordan evened up the score with a goal at 5:57 to end the first period in a tie. In the second period, Maroney scored his second of the game to give Peoria the lead. Blue forward Joseph Lopiccolo was able to tie up the score with a goal at 13:09. The Jr. Blues proceeded to capitalize on two power plays with a goal from forward Chase Kozma at 11:11 and defenseman Eric Denny at 7:40 to end the period 4-2. In the third period, the Jr. Blues continued to extend their lead with a power play goal from forward August Feldker at 12:59. Mustangs forward Anson Zaiser scored an unassisted goal at 11:19 to narrow the gap. The Jr. Blues capped off the game with a power play goal from forward Jack Reuss at 6:57 to end the game 6-3. Aaron Sibert started in net for St. Louis and made 24 saves on 27 shots. Jakub Stary started in net for Peoria and made 45 saves on 51 shots.

St. Louis 6 @ Peoria 3 – The Peoria Mustangs hosted the St. Louis Jr. Blues for their eighth matchup of the season and second of the weekend. In their previous matchup, St. Louis won 6-3. In the first period, the Jr. Blues opened up the scoring with goals scored by forwards Jace Jordan at 12:42, Joseph Lopiccolo at 9:52 and on the power play at 7:50, and Lonnie Land on the power play at 2:42. In the second period, the Mustangs began to close down St. Louis’ lead with goals from forwards Breyon Maroney at 15:26 and 9:36, and Owen Gruden at 3:28 to close the Jr. Blues’ lead to one goal. In the third period, the Jr. Blues cemented their win with goals from defensemen Mitchell Nappier at 12:38 and forward Jack Vahle with an empty-net goal at 1:12 to end the game 6-3. Travis Visvadra started in net for the Jr. Blues and made 31 saves on 34 shots. Charlie Maquet started in net for the Mustangs and made 31 saves on 36 shots.
