The St. Louis Jr. Blues, proud members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce that forward Zach Lodes has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey at Lawrence University. The Vikings, from Appleton, Wis., play in the NCHA.
A native of Ballwin, Mo., the 5’11, 165 lb right-hander played in all 47 regular-season games as well as all seven playoff contests. In the regular season, he scored 18 goals and added 19 assists, while in the post-season he recorded four points (3 G, 1 A) as the Jr. Blues made it all the way to the NA3HL semi-finals.
“Zach was a great addition to our lineup this year,” said Jr. Blues head coach Chris Flaugher. “He came in and brought speed and played with pace. Zach was a great teammate, which is a quality any school would want in a student-athlete. We as a coaching staff and organization couldn’t be more proud of Zach’s commitment to Lawrence University.”
Lodes becomes the third Jr. Blues commitment to Lawrence this summer, as Ivan Galaguzov and Tom Yurisich preceded him in joining the Vikings. He is the sixth NCAA commitment from the 2018-19 Jr. Blues roster, and the eighth overall collegiate commit.
