WE MEET AGAIN: St. Louis and Rochester will be concluding the second leg of a home-and-home series this weekend. Rochester swept St. Louis in the Missouri portion of the series last weekend, winning 4-1 on Thursday afternoon and 3-1 on Friday night out in St. Peters. Goals were scored by Aleksandr Gamzatov on Thursday and Tim Delaney on Friday: special recognition also should go out to goaltender Jeb Lindy, who made 34 saves in his junior debut on Friday.

NICE TO SEE YOU: The Jr. Blues are proud to announce that they will be allowing non-family spectators to home games at the Wentzville Ice Arena, which commence next weekend when they meet the Milwaukee Power. Game times will be Friday evening at 7:10 and Saturday afternoon at 1:50 pm. Watch our social media pages for additional information regarding policies and procedures for fans expecting to attend.

NEW ADDITIONS: The Jr. Blues added two new faces to the team this week, forward Carson Kuche and defenseman Jeff Stanton. Stanton, a native of Murfreesboro, Tenn., is a former Nashville Jr. Predators AAA teammate of Lindy: he will wear number 23. Kuche is a forward from Flagstaff, Ariz. who joins the Jr. Blues from NAPHL members Arizona Bobcats AAA and will wear number 26.

SCOUTING THE GRIZZLIES: Experience showed for Rochester last week, as veterans like captain Peyton Hart (1 goal), forward Hunter Wilmes (2 goals, 1 assist) and goaltender Shane Soderwall (19 saves in Thursday’s win) all made big contributions in last weekend’s sweep of the Jr. Blues. Of note for Chris Ratzloff’s men in their two wins was the shot differential: they out-shot St. Louis by 22 shots on Thursday and 15 shots on goal on Friday.
