St. Louis Jr. Blues defenseman Sean Gammage has Tendered with the NAHL expansion franchise Chicago Hitmen. St. Louis Jr. Blues coach Jack Behan said, \”Sean has the size (6\’4\”, 215 lbs.) and skill to play at the next level. He has worked so hard the past two seasons to improve his play and it obviously has paid off. Sean has good puck skills with the reach and physical presence to be such a terrific player at the next level. We are very proud of his improvements and wish him continued success in the NAHL.\”
Behan also feels the fit will be good for Gammage, \”Sean will be given an opportunity to be a leader in his first year in the NAHL and that is a rarity. With the Hitmen being an expansion team he will have a great opportunity to be counted on in his first year which is what Hitmen coach Steve Pronger emphasized in our conversations with Sean.\” Gammage leads the Jr. Blues in +/- with an impressive +58. Gammage is the second Jr. Blues player to be tendered in the NAHL joining Nick Saracino who Tendered with the St. Louis Bandits.
