Phil Lux Commits To Manhattanville College

Feb 14, 2012

St. Louis Jr. Blues forward Phil Lux has committed to play hockey for the Manhattanville College Valiants in 2012-13.  Lux joined the Jr. Blues midway through the season after beginning the season in Sioux City with the Musketeers.  Lux is a St. Louis native that spent two seasons at New Hampton Prep in New Hampshire and is excited for the opportunity to play for Manhattanville next season.  The team has been keeping tabs on Phil since his time at New Hampton and he committed today.  Says Lux, "I like small schools and this is a small liberal arts school just outside New York city.  They have a great sports marketing program, which is what I want to do.  In the end, it is a school that I would go to regardless of whether or not they had a hockey team."
