McGlynn Tenders With Springfield in the NAHL

Feb 5, 2014

It's been a good week for St. Louis Jr. Blues forward Andy McGlynn. The 1997 birth-year player was named to the NA3HL Central Division Top Prospects team over the weekend and capped it off with a tender offer from the Springfield Jr. Blues of the NAHL. McGlynn was outstanding in front of the Springfield coach in attendance this past weekend when he notched 4 points in two games including a goal and two assists in a 4-3 loss. Head Coach Chris Flaugher said, "Andy has continued to improve all season. Even as a 1997, he can play with finesse and grit, depending on the situation.

McGlynn is 5th in overall team scoring, but 3rd in points per game averaging just at a point a game. McGlynn hopes to ultimately make the jump to a Tier I program and ultimately NCCA DI hockey.
