Jr. Blues defeseman Phil Luongo has committed to play hockey next year at Lawrence University in Wisconsin. Luongo decided to come home to finish the 2010-11 season with his hometown team. Head Coach J.P. Beilsten said, "Phil is a strong defensive minded defenseman. He is a strong skater and moves the puck well. His instincts, defensively, are very good. Phil brought stability to the blue line that was much needed. He decided that it was time to move on to college and we wish him well."
Luongo played in 19 games where he notched 5 points (1G,4A) and 22 PIM's.
