With a little more than a week until the home opener versus Cincinnati, today brings the introduction of a player some of our fans may have seen before, but not with the Junior Note on his chest: forward Brandon Bornkamp.
LAST SEASON: Bornkamp, originally from Fort Wayne, Ind., was acquired in an off-season trade with the Evansville Jr. Thunderbolts. Last season with the expansion ‘Bolts, Bornkamp led the team in scoring with 39 points (21G+18A) and was one of their representatives on the Midwest Division team at Top Prospects, where he recorded an assist.
What is your favorite moment in your hockey career? Playing in the USA Hockey National Youth Championships in 2010 and the High School Nationals in 2015.
