As we continue our series profiling the 2016-17 team, let’s take a look at another returning player: gritty forward Alex Werdmuller.
LAST SEASON: In his first year with the Jr. Blues, the Laguna Hills, CA native scored nine goals and added 15 assists in the regular season. During the playoffs, he also scored one goal with two assists. Werdmuller especially shone on special teams, becoming one of the Jr. Blues’ top penalty killers as the season went on.
