Jr. Blues Set To Meet Cyclones In Wausau

BLUES EARN FIRST VICTORY: The Jr. Blues pulled out their first victory of the season Friday, October 8 vs. the Milwaukee Power. Cam Gillen and Gus Imken netted first period goals, and Brendan Cobb made 35 saves to propel the thrilling 2-1 win. Duke Boccardi and Jack Dapron currently lead the team with 7 points each. 

SCOUTING THE CYCLONES: The Blues are 0-2 so far vs. Wausau this season. The Jr. Blues dropped both games Sep. 24-25 to Wausau by finals of 4-1 and 6-0. These are the first two home games of the year for the newly-rebranded Cyclones (formerly the RiverWolves). The Cyclones dropped both games last weekend to Peoria by finals of 9-1 and 3-0.
