The St. Louis Jr. Blues, proud members of the NA3HL, are excited to announce that goaltender Jack Regan has been called up to serve as an emergency goaltender for the Central Illinois Flying Aces of the United States Hockey League. The Aces, based in Bloomington, Illinois, play in the USHL’s Eastern Conference: they will take on the US National 18U Team on Wednesday before facing Cedar Rapids on Friday and traveling to Green Bay on Saturday.
Acquired by the Jr. Blues in December, Regan has contributed greatly to the Jr. Blues’ push for the Central Division crown. The native of Sylvania, Ohio has a record of 5-3-0 in 9 total games played, with a 2.71 goals-against average and a save percentage of 914.
This is not the first time Regan has spent time with a higher-tier club this season, as he has previously skated with the Lone Star Brahmas of the NAHL.
