BLUES WIN SECOND STRAIGHT SERIES: The Blues won a second straight series, downing the Oregon Tradesmen 3 points to 2. After falling 4-3 in a shootout Friday, the team rallied for an impressive 3-2 shootout win Saturday. The Blues took down the Wausau Cyclones 3 points to 2 Oct. 29-30. Jack Dapron scored once in regulation and once in the shootout in the victory over Oregon Nov. 6. Tommy LaVigne also scored in regulation in the Saturday win. Gus Immken sealed the victory with the shootout winner. Espen Reager earned the win in goal.
BLUES RETURN TO TOWN: The Blues return to action at Affton Ice Rink Nov. 5-6 vs. the Oregon Tradesmen. The Jr. Notes then head to Rochester to meet the Grizzlies Nov. 12-13.
SCOUTING THE GRIZZ: The Blues and Grizzlies meet for the first time this season. The Grizz are out to a hot start at 14-1. Their lone loss came last weekend vs. Wausau, as the Cyclones took down the Central Division leaders 4-2 Nov. 5. The Grizzlies rebounded for a narrow 3-2 victory Nov. 6. The club’s 14 wins are tied for the third most in the NA3HL. The Gillette Wild are off to a perfect 16-0 start to the season.
