Jr. Blues Pick Up a Point in OT Versus the Power

The Power Overtake the Jr. Blues

Friday, November 8 – St. Louis 2 @ West Bend 5 – The West Bend Power took some time to get going in the first period. But as time went on, they found their stride. The Power went into the locker room with a 3-1 lead over the St. Louis Jr. Blues on Saturday. And they eventually skated away with a 5-2 victory. Jackson Hoem earned First Star honors with a goal and two assists. Meanwhile, Tyler Kowalchuk provided a goal and assist to help his team to victory.

Saturday, November 9 – St. Louis 3 @ West Bend 4 (OT) – A late goal to get to overtime propelled the West Bend Power to a victory against the St. Louis Jr. Blues. The Power jumped to an early 2-0 lead in the first period through goals from Monte Goold and Brody Josselyn, followed by a scoreless second period. The Jr. Blues rebounded in the third period, scoring three unanswered goals from Stephen Craigh and Mason Andrew, the latter scoring the last two. With a comeback win seeming likely, Jace Fitzgerald would tie the game in the final two minutes to force overtime. Fitzgerald once again was called upon in the overtime period, scoring the game-winning goal for the Power off his second of the game.
