Jr. Blues Nationals Hero Commits To Lawrence University

May 11, 2010

Paul Zuke, the Jr. Blues Tier III Jr. A National Championship tournament hero, has committed to play at Lawrence University next season.  In 43 games for the Jr. Blues this year, Zuke finished with 10 goals and 17 assists.  He saved his best for last, notching two goals and an assist in the National Championship game at the Tier III Nationals.

Jr. Blues Head Coach Jack Behan said, \”Paul has decided on Lawrence for a variety of reasons.   Paul put aside other hockey opportunities to start his collegiate education.  Lawrence is a great fit for Paul with an outstanding academic institution and a very fine, improving hockey program.  Because of Paul\’s high academic wishes I contacted Lawrence last fall and they attended the CSHL Showcase and immediately pursued him for this upcoming season.   In Paul, Lawrence will get a complete player who has proven to be a catalyst in the biggest games as proven by his 2 goal performance in the National Championship Game. Lawrence is getting a very fine player who is an outstanding individual off the ice.  We wish Paul great success at Lawrence.\”
