Jr. Blues Host Mustangs On Rivalry Weekend

BLUES ON LONG STRETCH AT AFFTON: The Jr. Blues continue a long stretch of 11 straight games at Affton Ice Rink. The Notes have won eight out of their last ten and nine of their last twelve games. 

The Jr. Blues previously battled the Mustangs Jan. 2-3 at the Owens Center in Peoria. The Notes dropped the first contest 4-3 and were shutout 4-0 in the second game of the weekend. The Jr. Blues and Mustangs will meet again March 6-7 at Affton to close the homestand. 

SCOUTING THE MUSTANGS: Peoria currently sit in second in the Central Division. The team owns 44 points and has clinched a playoff berth. The team is 8-4-1 on the road this season and 2-2 vs. the Jr. Blues. The team allows the fourth-fewest shots in the NA3HL (26.10 per game). Reid Lune paces the team with 28 points on 10 goals and 18 assists. The Mustangs trail division-leading Rochester by five points in the Central Division standings. 

FRASER CUP IN ST. PETERS: The 2021 Fraser Cup Championship, which crowns the National playoff champion of the NA3HL, will take place at the St. Peters Rec Plex in St. Peters, Missouri from April 15-19.
