The Jr. Blues are 2-4 vs. Peoria, their most likely first-round opponent in the playoffs, so far this season. Tony Andrews scored with 0.6 seconds in regulation to go on Mar. 6 to cement a thrilling Saturday night win over the Mustangs at Affton Ice Rink.

FRAGA EARNS GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH HONORS: Danny Fraga backstopped the Blues in nearly perfect fashion last month, debuting in the NA3HL with a 4-0-0 record, .969 save percentage, 1.00 GAA and one shutout through February. His greatest “blemish” came at the start of the month, when he gave up two goals on 41 shots in a win over Milwaukee.

From there though, he allowed just two goals in his final three starts, stopping 36 of 37 against Peoria, 24 of 25 against Wausau and recording a 28-save shutout of the RiverWolves on the 25th. Fraga totaled 127 saves on 131 shots over the course of the month, and his .969 save percentage is tops among NA3HL netminders with multiple appearances on the year.

SCOUTING THE MUSTANGS: Peoria has racked up 25 wins and 52 points so far this season. Peoria is 6-4 in its last 10 games. The team is 15-2 at home so far this season. The 15 home wins are the most among any team in the Central Division.
