JR. BLUES FORWARD MARSHALL CALLED UP TO NAHL

Oct 15, 2015

ST LOUIS, MO—The St Louis Jr. Blues are proud to announce that forward Bayley Marshall (St Charles, IL) has been called up to the Kenai River Brown Bears of the North American Hockey League.

Since joining the Jr. Blues, the 6-3, 195 lb Marshall has been a potent offensive force: with seven goals and nine assists for 16 points, Marshall is second on the team in scoring.

Jr. Blues head coach Chris Flaugher said of the promotion: “Bayley has joined the long list of St. Louis Jr. Blues and players from the NA3HL who have earned promotions to the NAHL through the NA3HL route.  He is a very talented hockey player who is getting a chance to show he can play at the next level.  We wish Bayley the best of luck.”

Last year the NA3HL saw over 40 players promoted to the North American Hockey League.  The NA3HL is proving to be a launching pad for moving players on to the only Tier II league in the United States.
