JR. BLUES’ CARROLL MAKES COLLEGE COMMITMENT

May 21, 2018

The St. Louis Jr. Blues, proud members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce that Dylan Carroll has committed to play college hockey at the University of Louisville. The Cardinals play ACHA Division II hockey in the Tri-State Collegiate Hockey League.

In three seasons with the Jr. Blues, the native of St. Peters, Mo. proved himself a versatile, hard-working player, who played both at forward and defense for the club and performed admirably at both positions. He was primarily a forward in 2017-18, playing in 23 games and scoring 22 points (9 goals, 13 assists) before his season was cruelly cut short due to an illness.

“I’ve known Dylan since he was eight years old, and you won’t find a tougher individual”, said Jr. Blues head coach Chris Flaugher. “He’s fought hard both on and off the ice to get where he is today, and this character shows through when you see him play. U of L is a great school and a great place for him to continue his growth as both a student-athlete and a man, and I’m incredibly proud to see him succeed.”

Carroll becomes the sixth member of the Jr. Blues’ 2017-18 Fraser Cup Finals team to announce a college hockey commitment.
