The St. Louis Jr. Blues, proud members of the NA3HL, are excited to announce that forward Seamus Campbell has made the 2020 midterm draft rankings released by the NHL’s Central Scouting Service. Campbell is currently projected as a seventh-round prospect amongst North American skaters with draft eligibility.
A native of St. Louis and an NAPHL alumnus with CarShield AAA, the 6’, 155 lb winger has provided a solid impact in his first season of junior hockey. In 35 games for St. Louis, Campbell has scored nine goals and added 21 assists. Earlier this year, he earned a call-up to the Springfield Jr. Blues of the NAHL, where he scored a goal in his first game.
“Obviously we are thrilled to see Seamus get recognized by NHL Central Scouting for his potential,” said Jr. Blues head coach Chris Flaugher. “He’s a young player with a good skill-set that has a high upside.”
Campbell also makes history as the first active NA3HL player to make the NHL Central Scouting midterms. “Seamus still has a lot of work to do but this is something he can be proud of,” added Flaugher.
