JR. BLUES’ CAMPBELL GETS NAHL PROMOTION

Nov 1, 2019

The St. Louis Jr. Blues, proud members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce that forward Seamus Campbell has been called up by the Springfield Jr. Blues of the NAHL. Springfield plays in the NAHL’s Central Division.

A rookie at the junior level after playing with Carshield AAA Hockey of the NAPHL, Campbell has been an impact player for St. Louis and a major part of the Jr. Blues’ strong start to the 2019-20 season. In 18 games, the 6’1, 185 lb 2002 birth year from St. Louis, Mo. has six goals, nine assists, and a plus-minus rating of +6. Two of his goals have come via special teams, one on the power-play as well as a short-handed tally.

“Seamus has all the tools to be an impact player at the higher level,” said Jr. Blues head coach Chris Flaugher. We hope his time with Springfield will help him really learn what it takes to succeed there, because we are confident he’s got the potential to make his mark in the NAHL.”
