JR. BLUES’ BAGINSKI MAKES NCAA COMMITMENT

May 30, 2019

The St. Louis Jr. Blues, proud members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce that forward Will Baginski has committed to play NCAA hockey for King’s College. The Monarchs, located in Wilkes-Barre, Penn., play Division III hockey in the UCHC.

A St. Louis native, the 5’11”, 180 lb right-hander was one of the Jr. Blues’ most dangerous forwards over the past two seasons. In 59 career regular-season games, Baginski found the back of the net 34 times, adding 57 assists and finishing with a career plus-minus rating of +65. He also made an impact in the post-season, including seven points (4 G, 3 A) in the Jr. Blues’ 2018 run to the Fraser Cup Final.

“Will has the potential to be an impactful player at the collegiate level,” said Jr. Blues head coach Chris Flaugher. “We wish him the best of luck as he pursues a college degree while playing the great sport of hockey.”

Baginski becomes the sixth Jr. Blues player to make a college commitment this off-season, and the fifth to commit to an NCAA school.
