Jr. Blues Alumni Beat Current Jr. Blues 10-7!

Dec 21, 2009

The St. Louis Jr. Blues have always prided their program as being a \’family\’ and Tuesday night it showed.  Returning to play in the Jr. Blues Alumni Game were players from as recent as last season to 22 years ago.  The game got off to a quick start as the Alumni scored twice in the first minute.  The current squad battled from behind all night and at one point made it 7-6 but the talented Alumni squad finished strong for an 10-7 win.   Most of the night was full of relived memories and rehashed stories from the years of playing with the Jr. Blues.   The best seat in the house was anywhere near the Alumni bench as the belly laughs ruled the night.   The alumni list was as usual quite impressive.
