AFFTON — St. Louis Jr. Blues forward Jarrad Bratton has joined teammates Joey Boccardi and Matthew McGowan in committing to play ACHA Division I college hockey for Missouri State University.

“Jarred was a consistent contributor to our offense and played a pivotal role for the team” said former Jr. Blues GM and head coach Chris Flaugher. Bratton lit the lamp15 times and added 20 assists for 35 points. Flaugher added, “Jarred brought speed and skill every time he took the ice and will do the same at the collegiate level.”

Prior to joining the St. Louis Jr. Blues, Bratton played for the St. Louis Amateur Blues Tier I program. Bratton was also standout for the Fox Warriors high school club.

Bratton is added to the list of former St. Louis Jr. Blues to attend Missouri State and will follow in his older brother Jordy’s footsteps in wearing the maroon and white for the Ice Bears.
