GAMES AT WENTZVILLE: WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW AND FAQ’S

Oct 15, 2020

With the Jr. Blues announcing that they will be playing home games at the Wentzville Ice Arena this month, we’re sure our great fans have questions about this venue and what to expect. Here are some FAQs.

How do I get to Wentzville Arena?

Wentzville Ice Arena is easily accessible from both Interstates 70 and 64/40. The rink is located at 910 Main Plaza Drive, Wentzville, MO 63385. From Interstate 70, take the exit to US Highway 61 towards Hannibal, then get off at State Route A/Wentzville Parkway. (Those coming from Interstate 64/40 should simply stay on the route after the I-70 interchange and take the same exit onto Route A.) At the exit, turn left, and then turn left at the stoplight at Luetkenhaus Boulevard. Take the first right at the roundabout and the rink is on your right. Avoid parking in the Main Plaza II lot across from the rink entrance, as they will tow your car. Ample parking is available in the lot west of the rink.

What should I expect when I get inside?

Wentzville Rink has two sheets: the Jr. Blues will be playing on the main sheet which is to your left once you enter. Both bleacher and chairback seating is available, with the neutral zone section being chairbacks. All seating is general admission and first-come, first-served. Facial coverings are mandatory. Fans should avoid mixing with other family groups and there is ample space and seating to social distance.

How much is admission?

Admission is $6 for adults. Children 10 and under are free, as well as all youth in a Missouri Hockey member club jersey. We accept cash only for admission: there is an ATM on site, plus ATMs for most banks and credit unions are located nearby. Be aware that fans will not be allowed into the rink until 15 minutes before the scheduled game time, as per rink policy.

What can I bring in?

The only thing that is prohibited is outside food and drink. Other than that, there are no restrictions. Blanket to stay warm? By all means. A cowbell, airhorn, or vuvuzela? Bring the noise. Your own chairback for the bleacher section? Make yourself comfortable.

Will food and drink be available?

Yes, the concession stand will be open. Wentzville Rink has food, Pepsi products, and beer (presently Bud Light and Bud Select) available for purchase. Credit cards are accepted at the concession stand. In addition, 909 Public House, located across the street from the rink, has a menu available for fans and accepts call-ahead orders from the rink.
