Monreal deposited a goal at 5:41 with a helper from Dunaway. Mcatee quickly followed with a goal at 7:05 with assists from Papa and Galaguzov. Dunaway scored a goal at 19:41 with a helper from defenseman Carroll.
In the third, Dunaway put in a goal at 5:08 with assists from Capkovic and Galaguzov. Carroll netted a goal at 8:36 with helpers from Muzzillo and Marshall. Huson quickly followed with a goal at 9:59. Hohl quickly followed with a goal at 10:42 with assists from Dunaway and Monreal. Jones scored a goal at 16:26.
The Jr. Blues’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Bjella’s big night as he stopped 29 of the 30 shots he faced. Bjella’s counterpart, Hufford, also had a big night, managing to stop 49 of 59, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the St. Louis Jr. Blues’ record to (3-1-0-0).
