The St. Louis Jr. Blues regular season leading scorer, Cody Guidorzi, has signed a tender with the Port Huron Falcons of the NAHL for next season. Guidorzi finished the regular season with 54 points in 44 games. Head coach J.P. Beilsten said, "Cody told me this weekend that he had decided to sign with Port Huron. He had several opportunities to tender this year but decided to sign with the Falcons."
Guidorzi said, "I liked what the coaching staff had to say. I feel like this is a situation that will allow me to go to camp and make the team and be a productive member of the team."
Beilsten continued, "We are excited for Cody. We didn't know how special of a player we were getting in Cody. He had been hampered by injuries last year, so he didn't really have the chance to showcase what he can do. This year he did. He is going to a good team with a good track record of moving players, especially in the last couple of years."
Guidorzi is second in team scoring in the playoffs with 6 points in 3 games.
