One of the four undefeated teams at the NA3HL Showcase was the St. Louis Jr. Blues, who were led at the event by forward Cody Guidorzi. The 17-year-old from St. Louis, Missouri, was instrumental in the Jr. Blues success as he recorded eight points (5 goals, 3 assists) as St. Louis posted wins over Toledo, Alexandria, Flint and Metro. Two of his five goals were game winners and he was also a +7 during the event. In the first two games, Guidorzi (6’0/160) recorded back-to-back two goal, one assist games and scored the game-winning goal in both those contests. He finished the event with a one goal, one assist performance in a win over the Metro Jets. Guidorzi is tied for the team lead in scoring so far this season with 26 points in 23 games played as the Jr. Blues have posted an NA3HL best 24-2-0 record. “Cody has been playing great and putting up points, but it is important to note that he never takes a shift off,” said St. Louis head coach JP Beilsten. “He is very smart for a younger player and makes very good decisions with the puck.”
