Chris Saracino Joins Jr. Blues Coaching Staff

Former St. Louis Jr. Blues standout defenseman Chris Saracino has joined the coaching staff for the 2014-15 season. Saracino played for the Jr. Blues for two seasons before moving on to play for the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL playing 91 regular season games over 2 seasons and 7 playoff games. After helping Green Bay go from worst to first over his two years, Saracino committed to play for RIT, NCAA DI in Rochester, New York. Chris notched 73 points in 128 games over 4 seasons with Rochester, helping them to an NCAA Frozen 4 appearance during that time. After graduating from RIT, he played 4 games with Reading in the ECHL at the end of the season. After being accepted to the St. Louis University School of Law, Saracino defered his enrollment for one year and played professionally in Slovakia for HC Banska Bystrica where he 23 points in 54 games. Givent the opportunity to return to Slovakia or play elsewhere, Saracino decided not to forego law school for another year and returned to St. Louis.
