Join the St. Louis Jr. Blues on Saturday, December 10th to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Affton Hockey!
All Affton Hockey families & St. Louis Jr. Blues fans – past and present – are invited to come by the Affton Ice Rink on Saturday, December 10 for the Affton Ice Rink 50th Anniversary Celebration.
The day features games all day, including the St. Louis Jr. Blues facing taking on division-rival Peoria at 3 pm. There will be a special pre-game ceremony, featuring a ceremonial alumni puck drop.
The world famous Affton breakfast sandwiches will be on the griddle all day and a documentary about Affton Hockey will debut. Memorabilia from the rink’s early days will be on display in the room above the rink throughout the day. In celebration of the milestone, fans and supporters can purchase raffle tickets to win great Blues and Cardinals prizes and all proceeds will benefit Affton Hockey.
The Jr. Blues will be wearing commemorative Affton Americans 50th Anniversary jerseys for the game, which will be a feature of home games throughout the rest of the 2022-2023 season.
