2021 OPENING ROUND PLAYOFF PICTURE SET FOR JR. BLUES

AFFTON — The St. Louis Jr. Blues have secured a position in the 2021 NA3HL playoffs. The team will take on the Peoria Mustangs in the divisional semifinal round April 1-4. The team will host a playoff game Friday, April 2nd at Affton Ice Rink. Puck drop vs. the Mustangs is slated for 7:00 pm. 

The Jr. Notes will kick off the postseason with an April 1 matchup at Peoria. If a third game in the three-game series is necessary, it will be played Sunday, April 4 at Owens Ice Arena in Peoria, Illinois. 

REGULAR SEASON FINALE: The Blues close their regular season schedule this weekend at Oregon. The Jr. Notes will meet the Tradesmen in a three-game set starting at 7:30 pm Friday, March 26th. The teams will get another 7:30 pm start time Saturday before concluding the series with a 1:00 pm contest on Sunday. 

The Blues are 3-2 so far vs. the Tradesmen this season. Oregon is 11-6-0 at home this season and is 4-6 in its last 10 games. These will be the first games for the Jr. Notes since suffering back-to-back defeats March 12-13 at Peoria.

PLAYOFF PICTURE: The Jr. Blues (20-14-3) currently sit in third in the Central Division with 43 points. The Rochester Grizzlies (69 points) have clinched the Central’s top seed. They will take on Oregon (34 points) in the opening round of the postseason. Peoria (60 points) sits in second and will host the first game of the playoff series with the Blues April 1. 

The seeds are locked for the playoffs. The results of this weekend’s action will not change seeding for the playoffs. 

FRASER CUP IN ST. PETERS: The 2021 Fraser Cup Championship, which crowns the National playoff champion of the NA3HL, will take place at the St. Peters Rec Plex in St. Peters, Missouri from April 15-19. The 2021 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament will also take place at the St. Peters Rec Plex in St. Peters, Missouri, on April 18-19. For more information, visit http://na3hl.com/fraser-cup/.
