Former St. Louis Jr. Blues forward, Travis Turnbull, got his first taste of the NHL this week before being re-assigned to the Portland Pirates of the AHL today. Turnbull played in the Buffalo Sabres pre-season game versus the Ottawa Senators. Congratulations to Travis!
Another Jr. Blues alumni playing for the Buffalo Sabres, Chris Butler, has announced he will once again donate tickets as part of the "Tickets for Troops" program. Butler will provide a pair of tickets to a different military member from Western New York starting with Sunday’s preseason game against Philadelphia, and continuing for each of Buffalo’s 41 regular season home games this season.
