The Jr. Blues crushed the Ice Hawks 5-1

The St. Louis Jr. Blues' offense had a big night, peppering the Rochester Ice Hawks with 50 shots throughout the game. The St. Louis Jr. Blues took the lead early in the first on a goal from Jake Cox and never looked back.

Will Baginski delivered for his team with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Jake Cox did his part, adding 2 goals.

In the first, Cox opened the scoring for St. Louis with a goal at 1:12 with helpers from Hatton and Mcatee. Cox deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 4:36 with assists from Galaguzov and Jones.

During the second period, Baginski put in a goal at 14:16 with helpers from Jones and Mcatee. Stokes quickly followed with a goal at 14:56.

In the third, Baginski answered for St. Louis with a goal at 4:28. Winter netted a goal at 11:13 with assists from his linemates, Baginski and Marshall.

The Jr. Blues’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Smith as he stopped 14 of the 15 shots he faced. Smith’s counterpart, Bucklin, also had a big night, managing to stop 45 of 50, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the St. Louis Jr. Blues’ record to (34-8-0-0).
