The Jr. Blues crushed the Ducks 7-4

The St. Louis Jr. Blues' offense had a big night, peppering the Point Mallard Ducks with 37 shots throughout the game. The St. Louis Jr. Blues took the lead early in the third on a goal from Joe Papa.

Jack Hatton delivered for his team with 2 goals and Jake Cox did his part, adding 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists). Regnars Udris contributed with 2 goals and Mason Evans chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the second, Jones opened the scoring for St. Louis with a goal at 3:21 with a helper from defenseman Yurisich. Evans finally put the Ducks on the board with a goal at 11:14 with a helper from Chun. Cox quickly followed with a goal at 11:58 with an assist from defenseman Mcatee. Muzzillo deposited a goal at 14:08 with an assist from his defensive partner, Hohl. Hatton quickly followed with a goal at 14:57 with helpers from his linemates, Cox and Galaguzov. Udris answered for the Ducks with a goal at 17:04. Laplante netted a goal at 19:54.

In the third, Papa answered for the Jr. Blues with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 4:02 with a helper from his teammate Dunaway. Monreal quickly followed with a goal at 4:35. Udris answered for the Ducks with a goal at 12:08 with an assist from Evans. Hatton answered for the Jr. Blues with a goal at 17:57 with helpers from Cox and Jones.

St. Louis’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Smith as he stopped 22 of the 26 shots he faced. Smith’s counterpart, Bernardini, also had a big night, managing to stop 30 of 37, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the St. Louis Jr. Blues’ record to (12-1-0-0).
