A QUICK RECAP: For the first time since 2016, the Jr. Blues lost both games of a weekend series last time out, falling 5-2 and 5-1 to the Metro Jets.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT: The ‘Bolts will look to snap a six-game losing skid against the Jr. Blues this weekend. In good form for the men from Indiana is forward Rory Scott, who has scored four goals in his last two games, as well as fellow attackman Kyle Kowalski, who carries a three-game goal streak into this weekend’s series. This will be the final time the Jr. Blues visit Evansville this year: the visitors have won all five previous meetings this season.

JUNIOR NOTES: The Jr. Blues made a trade earlier this week, acquiring forward Tristan Slot from the Wausau RiverWolves in exchange for Ryan Hempel. Slot is a 6’2”, 205 lb native of Kaukauna, Wis., who has scored six goals and 15 assists in 22 games this season.
