Jun 2, 2014

St. Louis Jr. Blues forward Zane O'Bryan has signed a tender with the Amarillo Bulls of the NAHL Tier II. O'Bryan, a 1997 born forward was 4th in team scoring for the Jr. Blues this past season, posting 38 points in 47 games. Head Coach Chris Flaugher said, "Zane is the epitome of our developmental goals, with regards to first year players. We try to balance veteran and rookie players into one system. Zane is one of those players that shows a tremendous amount of potential."

O'Bryan was one of two first year eligible players that signed NAHL tenders. Flaugher said, "1997 birth year players were eligible this past season and two of our players were signed. O'Bryan in Amarillo and Andy McGlynn in Springfield." Flaugher goes on to say, "Signing a tender doesn't guarantee a spot, both players will need to go into their camps and make the team and beat out older players in order to play there and both players know the challenge ahead of them. We, of course, will do what we can to help prepare them in the off-season."
