17-year-old Franky Melton played well last weekend as St. Louis split their weekend road series in LaCrosse. The 5'7"/165lb. native of St. Louis totaled six points in two games, which included four goals and two assists and a +5 rating. On Saturday, Melton had a hat-trick, including the game-winning goal and two assists in a 7-3 win. On Saturday, Melton scored again in a 4-2 loss. For the season, Melton is 2nd on the Jr. Blues in scoring with 10 points in just six games played. "Franky had a solid weekend in the offensive end and scored some real nice goals. His line played a big part in our production," said Jr. Blues Head Coach, Chris Flaugher.
