Galaguzov's big night helped the Jr. Blues crush the Ducks 6-3

Ivan Galaguzov had a big night with 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists) as the St. Louis Jr. Blues crushed the Point Mallard Ducks 6-3 in a home game at Ford Ice Center in St. Louis. Besides, the St. Louis Jr. Blues' offense had a big night, peppering the Ducks with 38 shots throughout the game. The St. Louis Jr. Blues took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Joe Papa.

Jack Hatton delivered for his team with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Mark Capkovic chipped in with 2 assists. Kevin Laplante contributed with 2 goals and Matt Goodman had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists).

Galaguzov quickly followed with a goal at 19:51 with assists from teammates Mcatee and Cox.

Hatton answered for St. Louis with a goal at 6:55 with assists from his linemates, Galaguzov and Cox. Papa netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 9:08. Dunaway put in a goal at 13:10 with helpers from Capkovic and Monreal.

In the third, Laplante answered for the Ducks with a goal at 4:31 with assists from Green and Goodman. Galaguzov quickly followed with a goal at 6:21 with helpers from Capkovic and Hatton.

The Jr. Blues’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Bjella as he stopped 24 of the 27 shots he faced. Bjella’s counterpart, Bernardini, also had a big night, managing to stop 32 of 38, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the St. Louis Jr. Blues’ record to (13-1-0-0).
