Edwards To Play At Lindenwood

Feb 22, 2013

St. Louis Jr. Blues foward Jeremy Edwards has committed to play hockey at Lindenwood University in 2013-14.  Lindenwood is an ACHA school with teams nationally ranked at both Division I and Division II.  Lindenwood Head Coach Rick Zombo said, "I feel fortunate to have signed such a skilled hockey player, but a player of even higher character and desire.  I can't wait to see the affect that Jeremy's leadership and character has in our dressing room and on the ice.  We tremendously value players that show the will and desire to compete at the highest level."

Jr. Blues Head Coach J.P. Beilsten echoed those sentiments when he commented, "Edzo has done his job as captain this year above expectations for a first year Jr Blue. He embraced our traditions and style as if he was a three year vet on our team. His ability to lighten up the locker room during the tight games and harder workdays make our young and more inexperienced players feel more confident and loose while maintaining a great work ethic."
