Baginski's big night helped the Jr. Blues crush the Ducks 9-4

Will Baginski had a big night with 4 points (1 goal, 3 assists) as the St. Louis Jr. Blues crushed the Point Mallard Ducks 9-4 in a home game at Affton Ice Rink in St. Louis. What's more, the St. Louis Jr. Blues' offense had a big night, peppering the Ducks with 44 shots throughout the game. The St. Louis Jr. Blues took the lead early in the second on a goal from Dante Jones.

Dawson Marshall contributed with 2 goals and Ivan Galaguzov chipped in with 2 goals. Jarett Green delivered for his team with 2 assists.

Winter answered for St. Louis with a goal at 12:59 with assists from Jones and Jones. Chun answered for Point Mallard with a goal at 18:25 with a helper from defenseman Green.

During the third, Galaguzov answered for the Jr. Blues with a goal at 2:32 with assists from Hatton and Shively. Goodman quickly followed with a goal at 3:35 with a helper from Kendall. Shively answered for St. Louis with a goal at 5:52 with assists from Monreal and Jones.

The Jr. Blues’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Smith as he stopped 17 of the 21 shots he faced. Smith’s counterpart, Bernardini, also had a big night, managing to stop 16 of 22, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the St. Louis Jr. Blues’ record to (32-6-0-0).
